How to pray: Begin with the sign of the cross- the symbol of the Christians who exhorts us from evil. This is followed by the Our Father, "the prayer of the poor" (Pope Francis ´message on the first day of the Word Day for the Poor) and the Hail Mary, in honor of our only Mother. After, instead of praying the Our Father and the 50 Hail Mary, use the following prayer, crowning each mystery with a Glory to the Father. Finally, complete the rosary with a concluding prayer.
By the sign of the Cross, deliver us Lord our God, from our enemies. In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Main bead (at the start of each mystery in lieu of the Our Father):
God our Father, give us through the intercession of St. Vincent de Paul, the missionary virtues in order to better follow your son Jesus Christ, the Evangelizer of the Poor.
Minor beads (10 beads in each mystery in lieu of the Hail Mary)
For your life and mission, death and resurrection, let us live your simplicity, humility and zeal, meekness and mortification.
Glory Be to the Father:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Concluding prayer
Saint Vincent de Paul, an example of the docility to the Spirit, who with his affectionate and effective love organized the service for the poor, promoted the clergy and the consecrated life, becoming the universal patron of the works of charity, pray for us and hear our prayers (personal petition). Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
